Q: What services does the Jennifer Creed Fund provide?
A: The money, which is donated through the generosity of concerned people, is used for the purchase of special items such as : braces, shoes, wigs, transportation and lodging expenses, parking fees, babysitting and homemaker services, which normally are not reimbursed by health or hospital insurances.  These funds can be obtained quickly and with a minimum of red tape.


Q: Who is eligible to receive assistance?
A: The family of a needy child who is being treated for cancer or a birth defect at the Floating Hospital for Infants and Children at the New England Medical Center Hospital or at other hospitals.


Q: Who manages the Fund?
A: The Jennifer Creed Fund is a nonprofit, tax exempt organization, established under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the Internal Revenue Service.  A dedicated volunteer board, comprised of business and professional men and women, parents and friends, manages and directs the Fund's activities.


Q: Is my contribution tax deductible?
A: Yes, all contributions are tax deductible.  Please visit the Donate page to make your donation.     


Q: Does the committee who manages the Fund receive any financial remuneration?
A: No, each officer and member donates his or her time and services on behalf of the fund.
