How the Fund Works
The fund solicits donations from individuals and corporate sponsors through out the year. The Fund utilizes many different events from golf outings to wine tastings to accomplish its funding. The Fund Committee balances the incoming funds with the specific needs of the impacted families.
Referral Program
The Fund Committee selects eligible participants through a referral program. A referral form is completed by a responsible adult who knows of the family in need and mails it into the fund. The Fund Committee then reviews the information and votes to determine what, if anything, can be done to help the family in question. The information submitted is confidential and is not shared with any outside entities. It should be noted that the Fund has a limited amount of funds to disperse, so each decision is on a case by case basis.
The referral form can be filled out online, but should be printed
and mailed into the fund for consideration. The Fund will not
accept online referral submissions. The Fund Committee may
contact the responsible adult to gather more information to help
make the funding decision.
